Vietnam Women Travel was founded by Happy and Summi, two lifelong friends who grew up together in Hanoi.
Long before we became travel professionals, we were simply two curious girls exploring the streets of our hometown, fascinated by the stories hidden behind ancient temples, family-run cafés, bustling local markets, and quiet alleyways that most visitors would never discover. We studied tourism together, shared the same dream, and eventually built our careers welcoming travelers from around the world.
Over the years, we worked as local guides, tour leaders, destination specialists, and travel designers, creating journeys throughout Vietnam for thousands of guests from North America, Europe, Australia, and beyond.
While Vietnam’s breathtaking landscapes always impressed our travelers, we noticed something else.
The moments they remembered most were rarely the famous attractions.
They remembered being invited into a family’s home for tea. Learning a grandmother’s recipe while preparing lunch together. Sharing stories with local artisans whose skills had been passed down for generations. Watching fishermen return at sunrise. Sitting on tiny plastic stools enjoying street food with new friends.
Those genuine human connections became the inspiration behind Vietnam Women Travel.
We realized that the true beauty of Vietnam is not only found in its mountains, beaches, ancient cities, or UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It lives in its people—their generosity, resilience, traditions, and warm hospitality.
